·         Lithography (a planographic process):planographic printing process is the process where two substances are not capable of  combining together.

·          Monotype (a planographic process): Monotype is a direct process that yields a beautiful print. The design is drawn with ink, paint, or other materials on the metal or glass plate, and the print is taken. Since most of the ink or other drawing material generally transfers.



 Planographic printing means printing from a flat surface,as opposed to a raised surface that rely on the property that water will not mix with oil.

·         Letterpress (a relief printing process): Letterpress printing is a technique of relief printing using a printing press, a process by which many copies are produced by repeated direct impression of an inked, raised surface against sheets or a continuous roll of paper.

 

·         Relief Printing: Relief printing, in art printmaking, a process consisting of cutting a printing surface in such a way that all that remains of the original surface is the design to be printed. Examples of relief-printing processes include woodcut and metal cut.
